We practice an integrated style of therapeutic massage. This means the therapist will blend techniques from swedish, deep tissue, trgger point and other modalities to provide the patient with the best and most effective massage possible.

Myofascial Release
(May be eligible for insurance billing)

All myofascial release (MFR) patients at Restored Balance are required to meet with Dr. Carla Huitt for an evaluation prior to receiving treatment. Depending upon the complexity or duration of treatment, followup evaluations may be necessary. All MFR cases are supervised and reviewed by Dr. Huitt on a regular basis.

MFR billing is based upon the specific technique applied during the session. All techniques are coded and billed in 15 minute units. Each code is priced differently according to the advanced training needed to apply such techniques. All prices are determined to be "reasonable and customary" and are regulated by the insurance industry.

Prices remain the same regardless of whether Restored Balance submits the claim or the patient submits the claim.

If billing is submitted to the insurance company and is rejected or the amount goes against the patient's deductible, the patient is held responsible for the full payment of the outstanding balance.

A prompt payment with no insurance claim being filed by either Restored Balance or the patient will receive a professional courtesy discount.
